Increase productivity using digital systems

Digital assistance systems to simplify production control

We complement our expertise in mechanical and systems engineering with smart assistance systems for use in production. Assistance systems for the shop floor can be implemented either on new production solutions or on existing systems. These systems help employees working on the shop floor and in technological areas with production monitoring and control. The functionalities of these assistance systems go beyond simple process control. They guarantee processing capability and help increase efficiency.

Our product portfolio for digital assistance systems

Our product portfolio includes the Special Machinery Cockpit, with integrated Help Center, Analyzer and Flow Manager.

Special Machinery Cockpit: All data at a glance

Up-to-date machine data and AI-supported recommended actions – direct on the HMI panel or production tablet.

The Cockpit is an assistance system with touchscreen interface and supports employees in the operation and monitoring of production machines. The most important information on production status and essential messages from all machines are provided in a user-centric manner on a display. Possible views on the Cockpit include a line overview with main KPIs, inspection station for quality control, machine view for overview of key machine parameters or production view, e.g. for monitoring machine cycle times.

Collecting machine data using our Analyzer

Use our Analyzer to simplify root cause detection of weak points and errors in production machines. Our Analyzer lets you see everything at a glance – from an overview of all machine data through to management of multiple lines. Using custom sorts and additive filters, you can compile messages, machine conditions, malfunctions or manual entries for analyses. Representing different scenarios graphically allows you to quickly identify bottlenecks and causes of errors and document performance. Machine learning algorithms support analyses for classification purposes. The algorithms also provide suggestions for creating clusters and decision trees.

Flow Manager as an intuitive rules assistant

Leave nothing to chance: Our AI-supported alert system for monitoring production machines informs you quickly and reliably before your machine enters an idle state.

The first stage of implementing Flow is to use our Analyzer. While the Analyzer only provides access to machine events, Flow is able to connect the identified, recurring events directly to recommended actions. Further information can be added to each event for employees by making entries directly on the machine. These entries are displayed via our Special Machinery Cockpit to support operation or troubleshooting. Machine learning algorithms provide support here as well and can also be used on other machines without any prior knowledge on the part of the users. In-house applications can be connected via prepared interfaces and Flow can be used on all machines connected via the machine connector. Eliminating malfunctions more quickly considerably increases machine availability.
